NOON Peels are medical-grade chemical peels, tailored to your skin and concern. To keep you safe and your results at their best, there are some conditions where a peel isn't suitable, and others where we'd choose a gentler formula, add a melanin inhibitor, or simply time it right.
Please read this before booking. Every peel is best begun with a thorough consultation and a full medical history — most of the points below aren't an automatic no, but they do mean we need to talk it through first. If you're ever unsure, just ask.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
We don't perform chemical peels during pregnancy or breastfeeding — we'll happily welcome you once you're past this stage.
Active cold sore, facial herpes, infection or broken skin
An active infection or broken skin in the area needs to fully heal before any peel.
An active flare of eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis or rosacea
Where there's an active flare in the area we'd be working, we wait for the skin to settle.
A recent tan or sunburn
This must fully fade before any peel to avoid an uneven result or pigment change.
Recent oral retinoids — Roaccutane (Isotretinoin)
Your last use must be at least twelve months before a peel.
A tendency to keloid or raised scarring
Where skin is prone to raised scarring, we discuss this carefully and choose accordingly.
An aspirin allergy
We'll avoid salicylic-based peels and select a suitable alternative for you.
Melasma or a tendency to pigmentation
NOON handles deeper tones well, but we'll use a milder peel with a melanin inhibitor and patch test first.
Hospital-led treatment or a condition affecting healing
Where you're having chemotherapy, radiotherapy or hormone therapy, have uncontrolled diabetes, or another healing-related condition, we'll review carefully first.
Recent retinol, acids, peels or facial treatments
We'll simply time your peel to fit around recent active skincare or treatments.
NOON Peels are a wonderful choice for people who want to refresh, brighten and renew the skin with a peel tailored precisely to them. Thanks to NOON's DermShield technology, they deliver high active concentrations with minimal irritation.
They're ideal if you're looking to improve tone, texture and radiance, soften pigmentation and sun damage, manage congestion and breakouts, or simply give tired skin a healthy reset — suitable across a wide range of skin tones.
The right peel and strength is always decided together at your consultation, tailored to your skin, your concern and the result you're after.
